Adidas Originals has unveiled a new "Originals Bring Back" collection that pays homage to AS Roma's distinctive football culture from the early 1990s. The collaboration captures the visual essence of the club's historic period, focusing on authentic design elements that resonate with long-time supporters and football fashion enthusiasts.
The centerpiece of the collection is a precise reproduction of the 1993 match jersey, meticulously recreated to reflect its original design. Key vintage elements include the iconic Trefoil logo, the legendary "Lupetto" (Little Wolf) emblem designed by Piero Gratton, and the Barilla sponsor logo—a nostalgic nod to the team's sponsorship during that era.
Beyond the jersey, the collection expands to include a comprehensive range of sportswear. Highlights feature a full tracksuit in blue with distinctive yellow and red stripes, echoing the team's traditional color palette. A special edition of the classic Gazelle sneakers completes the lineup, specifically crafted for AS Roma fans.
The collection strategically balances historical authenticity with contemporary streetwear aesthetics, appealing to both football memorabilia collectors and fashion-conscious consumers. By reimagining the club's visual identity from three decades ago, Adidas creates a bridge between past and present sporting culture.
The collection launches today, November 22nd, and will be available through AS Roma Store locations, Adidas retail outlets, and online platforms, providing fans multiple purchasing channels.
