Danish audio manufacturer AIAIAI has unveiled its latest product, the TMA-2 DJ Wireless headphones, set to arrive in early 2025. The company aims to address a long-standing challenge in DJ equipment: the absence of reliable wireless headphones for professional mixing.

The TMA-2 DJ Wireless introduces the W+ Link transmitter, a proprietary technology that targets the latency issues common in standard Bluetooth connections. While traditional wireless headphones present timing delays that make beat-matching difficult, AIAIAI's W+ Link system reduces this lag. The headphones offer three connection options: the W+ Link wireless system, Bluetooth 5.2, and traditional cable connectivity.

Technical specifications include a 25-hour battery life and a weight of 217 grams (0.47 pounds). The design incorporates both USB-C charging capabilities and a mini-jack port for wired connections. These features align with professional DJ requirements for extended use during performances.

This release follows AIAIAI's earlier 2024 launch of the Unit-4 Wireless+ portable studio speakers, showing the company's continued focus on wireless professional audio equipment. The TMA-2 DJ Wireless will be available at £250 in the UK, $280 in the US, and €300 in Europe.

AIAIAI has opened pre-launch registration for customers interested in updates about the product's early 2025 release.

Additional details about compatibility with existing DJ equipment and specific latency measurements are expected closer to the launch date.
