One of the prominent figures in this movement is Diego Naska, who has established himself as a representative artist by combining energetic sounds with lyrics that speak directly to today's generation searching for identity.
Born on June 30, 1997, in Civitanova Marche, Naska was drawn to punk rock from a young age as an ideal language to express his pronounced creativity.
Naska initially emerged on social media, distinguishing himself through his frankness and spontaneity. He naturally created a connection with his audience, immediately involving them in the narrative of his daily life. His musical career began with the release of tracks that blend autobiographical texts and aggressive rhythms, quickly gaining public attention.
In 2021, his musical turning point came with the release of his first EP, "Amo". The project merges punk rock and pop rock with direct lyrics.

One of Diego's strengths is his stage presence. His live shows are true performances concentrated with energy, emotion, and adrenaline. Naska does not merely perform his songs; he interacts with fans, allows himself to be carried by the crowd's enthusiasm, and creates a unique atmosphere.
On Saturday, December 7, there was the anticipated live show at the Forum di Assago. A true event that gathered his fans from across Italy in a massive sold-out performance. The stage was filled with circus elements like jugglers and a bearded woman. He appeared on stage almost completely naked, generating buzz across industry and mainstream media sites. Diego brought his energy to the stage, supported by special guests like Finley and La Sad.
He also announced an Unplugged Tour for 2025, a more intimate show in Italian theaters.
While bands like Tre Allegri Ragazzi Morti and Punkreas defined the genre in the 90s and 2000s, today artists like Naska, along with other emerging talents like Olly and Rovere, are redefining the boundaries of punk rock by contaminating it with indie and pop influences.
This new wave of Italian punk rock maintains the spirit of rebellion but presents it in a more accessible and modern form, capable of speaking to a broader audience.
