1. Introduce Yourself to the Casawi Community: What drives you? What's your artistic vision, and what sets you apart from the crowd?

My name is Gabriel Marshall, i’m an art director from Harrow in London. What drives me most is wanting to learn and be the best at what I do. I love what I do. My artistic vision varies a lot depending who I’m working with and what I’m interested in at the time. I can’t say what sets me apart but I guess I’m doing something right.

2. City Inspirations: How has your city influenced your artistic path? Share how its streets, culture, and energy have molded your work.

London has a big influence on my work and artistic path. I take inspiration from my surroundings and what I see day to day. The energy here is different in a good way, compared to when I’ve travelled to other places for work. It’s definitely influenced my path whilst working with Mowalola as well as other London based brands, photographers and stylists, etc. Everyone is quite connected within the “scene” here (I hate that word) making it easier to work with different people. London is home and always will be.

3. Creative Process: What fuels your creativity? Whether it's a ritual, a muse, or a moment of clarity, we're keen to learn.

I don’t have a typical or regular creative process. For me, it really depends upon the project and what I’m interested in at that time; may it be a reference which is just a couple images, a short video or a movie. I take inspiration from a variety of different sources which helps take an initial idea to a stronger concept. At the moment I am drawn to storytelling and how I can incorporate this in my work. I feel with a clear story, the end result will come out elevated.

4. City Lifestyle and Art: How the places you lived influenced your career and work?

I think it’s more the people I’m surrounded by than the place I live, who have a huge influence on my work and career. Especially with Mowalola, who I was a big fan of before I began working with her. Now I can say I have worked on several campaigns, 3 shows and will continue to do more. Another person is my brother Frédéric Saint-Parck, who I will always owe a lot to as he has had a big influence on me since we first met.

5. Latest or Upcoming Projects: Give us a glimpse into your current endeavors and what lies ahead on your creative journey.
