Less than a month after announcing the relaunch of its revolutionary designer collaborations through an upcycling project that celebrated 20 years of history, the first rumors are circulating about which partnership H&M will take on next.
According to a statement made by CEO Daniel Ervér in a completely unexpected manner during an interview with Imran Amed of The Business of Fashion on the BoF VOICES 2024 stage, the Swedish brand would be working with Glenn Martens on a collection that will see the light in the fall of 2025.
The collaboration between the fast fashion chain and the creative director of Diesel follows those with Karl Lagerfeld, Stella McCartney, Roberto Cavalli, COMME des GARÇONS, Jimmy Choo, Lanvin, Versace, Marni, Isabel Marant, Alexander Wang, Balmain, KENZO, Moschino, Giambattista Valli, Simone Rocha, Mugler and Rabanne, which have democratized the fashion world. Its purpose will be to attract younger generations through avant-garde design and drive brand growth after a long period of stagnant revenues.
Details about the partnership are still limited at this time, so stay tuned for more information as it becomes available. The collection is expected to showcase Martens' innovative design aesthetic, blending his unique vision with H&M's accessible price points and global reach.
