Inter Milan have unveiled a special edition away shirt in collaboration with MotoGP legend Valentino Rossi and kit manufacturer Nike. The limited release jersey celebrates Rossi's connection to the club he has supported throughout his life.
The unique design incorporates Rossi's famous Sun and Moon symbols prominently on the jersey, creating a bridge between football and motorcycle racing. These iconic emblems, which have become synonymous with Rossi's racing career, have been adapted to represent the connection between the two sports.
Nike and Inter Milan have included several distinctive details that reference the nine-time world champion. The number 46, Rossi's racing number, appears below the Nike Swoosh. A special label reading "Engineered to the exact specifications of Valentino Rossi" has been added, acknowledging the precision associated with both sporting disciplines.
The most exclusive version of the shirt features "Rossi 46" on the back, where the number incorporates a graphic inspired by MotoGP racetrack layouts.
Inter Milan players will wear the special edition kit during their match against Cagliari at San Siro stadium on Saturday, April 12, 2025.
Rossi, who recently celebrated his 46th birthday, expressed his feelings about the collaboration: "It will be a huge honour to see the players of my team wearing this shirt created with Nike and Inter! It's a dream come true as it brings together my passion for motorcycling and my favourite team. It's also a display of love for the Club that has always made me feel at home".
