The adidas Harden Vol. 9 debuts this month, marking the latest chapter in James Harden's signature line with the German sportswear brand. The Los Angeles Clippers guard has been testing the shoe in NBA games since December, including a 41-point performance against the Utah Jazz.
The lead colorway, "Cyber Metallic", combines metallic accents with core black and lucid red details. The shoe's design focuses on court performance, featuring grid-mesh ventilation and a hybrid cushioning system. This "Lightboost" setup merges adidas' BOOST and Lightstrike technologies in the midsole, while the outsole implements a multidirectional pattern for quick direction changes.
"You can put on a fit with them and look fly at dinner or rock them on the court and drop 40". Harden says about his latest signature model.
The Harden Vol. 9 releases January 25 through adidas and select retailers, priced at $160. Additional colorways will follow the initial "Cyber Metallic" launch.
