The latest show by Jacquemus marks the brand's 15th anniversary. Founder Simone Porte Jacquemus celebrated the milestone in grand style.
The anticipation for the show has been building for months. In February, the designer revealed the stunning show location: Casa Malaparte in Capri. The house is a masterpiece by the modernist architect Adalberto Libera. He built it for the Italian writer and journalist Curzio Malaparte. Despite Malaparte and Libera passing in the late '50s and early '60s, the Casa remains an iconic marvel.
Jacquemus shared his inspiration for the brand. He said, “I was inspired to start my brand after watching ‘Le Mépris’ by Jean-Luc Godard. I was captivated by the beauty and modernity of his vision.” He shared this alongside a picture of the house from Godard’s 1963 film.. “ I feel privileged to host our upcoming show at Casa Malaparte.”

Before the event, Jacquemus announced the opening of a boutique in Capri. It will coincide with the show. The day before the show, the brand shared a series of photos of Jennie relaxing. She was on what seems to be the terrace of Casa Malaparte. This sparked rumors that the singer would be in the front row.
However, Jennie was not just a spectator. The Blackpink member ended the runway show in a sleek black dress. She wore kitten heels and a striking blue clutch.

Jennie has been with Jacquemus since 2022. She first worked with them when she attended the brand’s “Le Splash” show in Hawaii. The following year, she led their holiday campaign.
Considering Jennie’s well-established reputation as a fashion trendsetter, one might find it unexpected that her first appearance on the runway didn’t happen earlier. However, as the saying goes, quality takes time — and the collaboration between Jennie and Jacquemus is the epitome of excellence.
