The internationally renowned artist KAWS has transported his massive COMPANION sculpture to Le Brassus, Switzerland, positioning the 11-meter tall figure atop the Audemars Piguet headquarters. This installation represents the 12th stop of the KAWS:HOLIDAY global tour, a collaborative project with AllRightsReserved.

Strategically placed overlooking the architectural glass spiral of the Musée Atelier Audemars Piguet, the sculpture serves as a visual dialogue between contemporary art and traditional Swiss watchmaking. The positioning pays homage to the region's historical economic landscape, where farmers historically supplemented their income through precision watchmaking during winter months.

The sculpture's location is intentionally significant. Workshops in this Alpine region were historically designed with meticulous consideration—minimizing snow glare to protect artisans' vision during intricate craftsmanship. This architectural nuance reflects the same precision evident in Audemars Piguet's watchmaking tradition.

SK Lam, founder of AllRightsReserved, described the project as an exploration of creativity and cultural exchange. "Each stop on the KAWS:HOLIDAY tour represents a unique narrative", Lam explained. "This iteration with Audemars Piguet connects contemporary art with a community distinguished by generations of technical expertise".

After previous installations in Shanghai and Indonesia, the KAWS:HOLIDAY Le Brassus iteration will be accessible from November 20 to December 20, 2024, offering visitors a distinctive artistic experience in the watchmaking heartland.

The collaboration underscores a broader trend of luxury brands engaging with contemporary artists, bridging traditional craftsmanship with modern visual expression.
