1. Introduce Yourself to the Casawi Community: What drives you? What's your artistic vision, and what sets you apart from the crowd?

What drives me is the discovery of new cultures, exploring new places, meeting people, and immersing myself in music I haven’t heard before from diverse genres and scenes. My artistic vision draws inspiration from a wide range of sources, including old music, films, games, and live performances. What sets me apart is that while I primarily play within one genre, I integrate elements from many others—sampling jazz influences and using tools from unfamiliar tracks that still feel recognizable to the ear.

2. City Inspirations: How has your city influenced your artistic path? Share how its streets, culture, and energy have molded your work.

I live in Amsterdam, a vibrant multicultural city that offers endless inspiration through its diversity of cultures, lifestyles, and perspectives. The city’s energy, especially during the summer, provides a unique vibe that motivates me to create music. Additionally, the variety of events and opportunities happening here has had a huge impact on my artistic growth.

3. Creative Process: What fuels your creativity? Whether it's a ritual, a muse, or a moment of clarity, we're keen to learn.

For me, creativity comes from exploring new places, attending diverse events, and listening to music outside of my primary genre. This exposure inspires me to incorporate new ideas and sounds into my own style.

4. City Lifestyle and Art: How the places you lived influenced your career and work?

Living in a capital city has been instrumental in helping me build connections both locally and internationally. It has given me opportunities to perform in unique and varied settings, which has significantly shaped my career and artistic outlook.

5. Latest or Upcoming Projects: Give us a glimpse into your current endeavors and what lies ahead on your creative journey.

I’m currently working on several new edits and dubs, while also dedicating time to creating original music. I’m excited to release some of these projects later this year!
