Acne Studios' latest menswear collection questions traditional masculine dress codes, mixing formal tailoring with athletic wear and traditionally feminine elements. The Swedish label's Fall/Winter 2025 line plays with contrasts: structured wool suits appear alongside cropped gym tanks, while tweed jackets pair with exposed boxer shorts.

At the collection's core are classic menswear pieces reimagined โ€“ 1970s-inspired check suits, oversized white shirts, and pinstriped tailoring. These familiar silhouettes serve as a foundation for more experimental styling choices. One look pairs a gray tweed jacket, typically associated with conservative dress, with a pink athletic tank top and lived-in blue jeans. A large heart-shaped belt buckle featuring the brand's logo adds an unexpected finish.

The athletic influences throughout the collection manifest in several forms. A deconstructed gym look layers a sleeveless branded t-shirt over a hooded sweatshirt, paired with cut-off sweatpants and compression shorts underneath. The "Pink Gym" series of deep-cut tank tops introduces a softer palette to traditional workout wear.

Challenging standard menswear conventions, the collection incorporates elements more commonly found in women's fashion. Models carry substantial leather handbags, and several looks feature deliberately exposed midriffs. These styling choices, combined with the mix of formal and casual pieces, suggest a man unconcerned with traditional fashion boundaries.

The collection builds on current menswear trends that blend office wear, athletic clothing, and casual pieces. However, rather than focus solely on versatility between different settings, Acne Studios explores how these combinations can express varying aspects of masculine identity.

The Fall/Winter 2025 collection will be available through Acne Studios' online store and selected retail locations later this year.
