1. Introduce Yourself to the Casawi Community: What drives you? What's your artistic vision, and what sets you apart from the crowd?

Hey! I'm Alessandro, aka msft. I'm an electronic music producer and dj from Venice. There are many things that drive me and fuel my artistic vision, club culture is certainly one of these. My main goal with my music is, as obvious as it sounds, to make people move.

2. City Inspirations: How has your city influenced your artistic path? Share how its streets, culture, and energy have molded your work.

I grew up in a city near Venice but spent all my uni years in the lagoon. Venice is one of my fav places on earth, its streets, lights and underground scene certainly played a major role in finding my artistic identity and pushing my creativity.

3. Creative Process: What fuels your creativity? Whether it's a ritual, a muse, or a moment of clarity, we're keen to learn.

My creativity is fueled by trying to translate the feeling I get from specific places (Venice is one of them) into music. I take a lot of inspiration from sound scoring atmospheres in movies. I think the ability to match the images with sounds is so overlooked.

Also coffee helps fueling my creativity too lol

4. City Lifestyle and Art: How the places you lived influenced your career and work?

Every place I've been to contributed in a big or small way. I traveled a lot and every place I visited represents a picture and a specific feeling I can go back to when I want that exact feeling to be put into music.

5. Latest or Upcoming Projects: Give us a glimpse into your current endeavors and what lies ahead on your creative journey.

My most recent (and upcoming) release(s) are my way to homage UK club culture, which shaped my sound and my identity as producer quite a lot. In the next few months a lot of cool things are planned, including an EP with one of my fav labels out there and a bunch of exciting shows!
