Venice, March 30, 2025 – The historic Arsenale Tesa 105 in Venice transformed into a red-hued venue yesterday evening as Nike hosted a launch event for its latest footwear innovation, the Air Max Dn8.

The event brought together sports, music, and local communities in Venice's former shipyard complex. Two performance collectives, 24.7fastlife and Speed Boat, entertained attendees with trick tournaments and athletic demonstrations that drew enthusiastic responses from the crowd.

Musical performances included an opening set by 22-year-old rapper Promessa, followed by Artie 5ive, who arrived on a red boat to perform tracks from his new album "LA BELLA VITA". Local Venice DJ collective Metabolismo Lagunare provided additional music throughout the evening.

The Air Max Dn8 features eight air pods designed for maximum cushioning and performance. According to Nike, the shoe targets consumers who participate in various high-energy activities including water sports, cycling, and street sports.

Nike representatives described the new model as being developed for those who "live life to the fullest" and aim to "redefine the concept of dynamics" in athletic footwear. The design emphasizes both experimental aesthetics and functional performance.

The Venice event is part of a larger international marketing campaign for the Air Max Dn8, which officially launched earlier this month in select markets & online.
