Nike's inflatable jacket, a sought-after piece in technical fashion circles, has made its return after nearly 20 years. The revamped design comes through Nike's ISPA (Improvise, Scavenge, Protect, Adapt) division as part of their Spring 2025 collection.
The original jacket, released in 2008 under Nike's ACG (All Conditions Gear) line, appeared as a standard weatherproof shell but featured a unique network of inflatable panels that transformed it into an insulated puffer when filled with air.
The new Adapt Sense Air Jacket maintains this core technology while introducing updated features. It comes equipped with its own pump system that inflates integrated air channels throughout the garment, allowing wearers to customize their insulation level according to conditions or preference.
Available in two colorwaysโa sleek black and a rich chestnut brownโthe jacket also serves as a highly functional technical piece. Additional features include a protective front face flap, strategic zippered air vents, and a fold-down design that converts the jacket into a bag when not being worn.
The Adapt Sense Air Jacket is currently available in Asian markets through Nike's website as part of a four-piece ISPA collection. Global availability is expected later this spring.
