As the Nike Air Max 95 marks 30 years since its debut, the brand is reviving a key element from the original design. The "Big Bubble" tooling, which gives the air cushioning a more pronounced profile, returns in a monochromatic "Triple Black" version.
The all-black colorway maintains a sleek appearance while drawing attention to the enlarged air windows through a subtle blue tint. This design modification allows the air bubbles to extend beyond the standard silhouette constraints, capturing the spirit of the initial 1995 release.
This anniversary edition comes as part of a larger celebration that includes collaborative versions from streetwear brands UNDEFEATED, A Ma Maniére, and Corteiz, all expected later this season.
The approach mirrors Nike's 2023 strategy with the Air Max 1, when the company also restored original design elements for that model's anniversary.
While Nike hasn't announced an official release date, the Air Max 95 "Big Bubble" in "Triple Black" is expected to launch later in 2025 through Nike SNKRS and select retailers, priced at $175 USD.
