The Milan-based design studio NM3 has unveiled NMMS, a collection of sculptural vases created alongside fashion label Miss Sixty at Milan Design Week 2025. The exhibition runs through April 13 at Miss Sixty's flagship store in Milan.
This limited series of ten pieces showcases NM3's characteristic industrial minimalism, with each vase constructed from black powder-coated steel, stainless steel, and cylinder head screws. The design emphasizes raw materials, angular forms, and asymmetrical compositions that highlight the construction methods themselves.
Drawing inspiration from American artist John McCracken's sculptures, each vase in the NMMS collection presents shifting silhouettes that change depending on the viewer's perspective. The pieces offer four distinct visual experiences as observers move around them, blurring boundaries between practical object and art piece through their architectural finishes, visible joints, and precise edges.
The partnership extends beyond product design, representing an ongoing conversation between fashion and industrial design aesthetics. Miss Sixty's flagship store, designed by NM3 in collaboration with architect Silvia Guerrini, serves as an immersive installation space where these disciplines intersect.
Visitors can view the complete NMMS vase collection at the Miss Sixty flagship store located at Piazza del Liberty 20121 Milano MI, Italy. Additional information is available on NM3's website.
