PUMA AND PARMA CALCIO BLEND FOOTBALL AND MUSICAL HERITAGE IN NEW KIT DESIGN

Parma Calcio has unveiled its third kit for the 2024/25 season, designed by PUMA, in a launch event held at the prestigious Teatro Regio di Parma.

PUMA and Parma Calcio's 2024/25 third kit features a musical score design inspired by Verdi's Aida. The 'Faster Yellow' jersey, made from recycled polyester with PUMA dryCell technology, celebrates Parma's football and musical heritage. Launched at Teatro Regio di Parma, the kit includes a 'Tardini 100' logo commemorating the stadium's centennial. This collaboration between PUMA, Parma Calcio, and Teatro Regio aims to promote local culture and excellence.

The new kit serves as a bridge between the city's rich footballing tradition and its renowned musical legacy.

The jersey showcases a unique design featuring a musical score inspired by Giuseppe Verdi's Aida, an opera deeply ingrained in Parma's cultural identity. This musical motif is not merely decorative; it pays homage to the long-standing tradition of playing Verdi's compositions as Parma Calcio's players enter the pitch.

The kit's primary color, dubbed "Faster Yellow" evokes the distinctive hue of Parma's historic architecture. This shade strikes a balance between sophistication and vibrancy, reflecting the city's character. Navy blue accents on the collar and sleeve cuffs provide a sharp contrast to the dominant yellow.

PUMA has incorporated its dryCell technology into the jersey's fabric, which is made from 100% recycled polyester. This feature aims to enhance players' comfort by regulating body temperature during matches.

A notable addition to the kit is the "Tardini 100" logo, commemorating the centennial of Parma's home stadium, Ennio Tardini. This emblem reinforces the deep-rooted connection between the team and its historic grounds.

The collaboration between Parma Calcio and Teatro Regio extends beyond aesthetics. It represents a broader initiative to promote local culture and excellence, fostering connections between seemingly disparate domains like sports and classical music.

Football and music, while distinct, often intersect and influence each other. This kit design exemplifies how cultural elements can be woven into sports apparel, creating a product that resonates with both football supporters and arts enthusiasts.

The new third kit is now available for purchase through Parma Calcio's online store and select football retailers. Its release marks another chapter in the club's ongoing efforts to honor its heritage while embracing contemporary design and sustainability practices.
