PUMA's glorious era continues. They've revived another old silhouette, the Speedcat OG, to shape the present.

This iconic shoe, originating from the world of racing, was initially designed to dominate Formula 1. Now, it’s ready to re-emerge with a refreshed look that aims to transition from the racetracks to the fashion circuits.

The new edition stands out. It has a very premium finish in soft suede, available in the classic black and red colors. These colors echo the racing teams that historically used this model in the context of international races. We pay great attention to details. This ranges from the refined logo on the toe to the golden prints on the tongue and above the leather Formstrip. These details translate the tribute to the 2000s into a declaration of love for the Y2K aesthetic.

In 1999, the PUMA Speedcat revolutionized fire-resistant running shoe design. The shoes were worn by drivers in the 80s and 90s. Now, the PUMA Speedcat is set to make another change. It will turn a performance product into a must-have of sneaker culture.

Its clean lines and aerodynamic profile were inspired by the concept of speed. They have quickly conquered the catwalks around the world. The latest confirmation came during the Paris Fashion Week dedicated to men’s proposals for spring/summer 2025, where we saw it parade as part of the “AMERICAN SABOTAGE” collection designed by AWGE’s A$AP Rocky, as well as on the feet of numerous trendsetters.

For this launch, the German brand has also teamed up with NAKED Copenhagen, the well-known Danish retailer that gives voice to women by representing them with targeted communication, giving life to a campaign dedicated to strength and female empowerment starring stylist and creator Sierra Rena.

The two OG colorways are currently available for purchase online on the PUMA website and at selected stores like Slam Jam in Milan.
