Japanese fashion label TOGA has partnered with sportswear giant ASICS to launch their debut sneaker collaboration. The collection, which made its first appearance during TOGA's Fall/Winter 2025 runway presentation at London Fashion Week, reflects the "FORMAL, INFORMAL, ANTI-FORMAL" aesthetic that defined the entire seasonal lineup.
The collaborative footwear appears to use ASICS' GEL-NYC silhouette as its foundation, reimagined with distinctive decorative touches. Most notable are the appliqué elements that echo designs typically found on cowboy boots. The sneakers feature an innovative double lacing system that combines thin, patterned laces equipped with quick-release fasteners intertwined with conventional oval athletic laces in white.
Adding to the distinctive look, TOGA's signature ornamental hardware elements appear around the eyelets, enhancing the shoe's unique character. The collection includes three colorways showcased during the runway show: a gray version, a silver model with red accents, and an earth-toned variation featuring ocher and terracotta colors.
This partnership marks a significant expansion for TOGA into athletic footwear while allowing ASICS to explore more fashion-forward territory through this creative collaboration.
