From February 12-14, customers at select Valentino stores across Europe and the United States can choose from poems by six contemporary writers, which will be hand-calligraphed for their recipients.
The collaboration brings together established and emerging voices in contemporary literature. Contributing authors include Dream Baby Press founder Matt Starr, actress and artist Jemima Kirke, writer-musician Brontez Purnell, digital storyteller Mackenzie Thomas, novelist and screenwriter Jerry Stahl, and bestselling author Coco Mellors. Their works range from humorous takes on romance to passionate love letters.
Dream Baby Press, established in 2022, has gained recognition for its "The Love Hate Lists" format, where pop culture figures share their ten most loved and hated things. The platform specializes in publishing poetry and literature that connects with modern audiences.
This initiative continues Valentino's support of creative projects and literary expression under Creative Director Alessandro Michele. The fashion house has increasingly incorporated artistic collaborations into its brand identity, extending beyond traditional fashion boundaries into broader cultural territories.
The poetry selection will be available at participating Valentino boutiques, offering customers an alternative to conventional Valentine's Day gifts by combining luxury retail with personalized literary art.
