Professional skateboarder Beatrice Domond has partnered with OTW by Vans to release her signature shoe, the Mary Jane DS. The collaboration marks a historic moment, as Domond is both the first female skater to join Supreme's team and the first Black woman to have a signature shoe with Vans.

The Mary Jane DS updates the traditional Mary Jane silhouette while maintaining its classic appeal. The shoe features a rugged sole paired with premium black monochromatic leather and suede uppers, blending skateboarding functionality with contemporary fashion sensibilities.

Personal elements from Domond's Haitian heritage and childhood experiences shape the design. The insole displays a printed map of Haiti, while the packaging draws inspiration from vintage Vans skate shoe boxes and includes special logo designs.

"This project allowed me to share a part of myself that my community hasn't seen before - my Haitian background", Domond explains. "It's a tribute to my grandmother and mother. Without them, I wouldn't have had these opportunities."

The attention to detail extends throughout the shoe, with carefully selected materials and construction methods that reflect both skating requirements and style preferences. The design maintains the practicality needed for skateboarding while incorporating elements that work equally well for casual wear.

The OTW by Vans Mary Jane DS by Beatrice Domond is now available at select retailers worldwide.
