1. Introduce Yourself to the Casawi Community: What drives you? What's your artistic vision, and what sets you apart from the crowd?

Hi Casawi! I'm Yosef, creative director and resident DJ at Antídoto Club. If I had to define myself in one sentence, it would be: Obsessed with finding new stimuli. Even if it sounds edgy, I feel quite uncomfortable being on the same wave as everyone else.

2. City Inspirations: How has your city influenced your artistic path? Share how its streets, culture, and energy have molded your work.

I play all my music with high BPMs and very fast. Madrid is a city that never sleeps and constantly gives you new inputs; it's very dynamic. It wasn't always like this for me, but today, it is.

3. Creative Process: What fuels your creativity? Whether it's a ritual, a muse, or a moment of clarity, we're keen to learn.

For me, there's no standard creative process. I feel an impulse and have to drop everything I'm doing. When I feel I have something to share, I open Ableton no matter where I am. It could be on a plane or in my bed, for example, and when I have something that feels good enough, that's when I go to my studio and finish it.

4. City Lifestyle and Art: How the places you lived influenced your career and work?

I was born and have lived most of my life in Almería, a very small beach town in southern Spain, which is peaceful and has shaped my pace in making music. Also, when I lived in Granada, a city full of independent art, I learned that DIY is essential these days, and that's when I started to fully dive into learning how to design my covers, mix my tracks, or distribute my music on digital platforms. It was also where I began as a DJ and where I found one of my favorite artists: Dellafuente. Now I live in Madrid, and it has taught me the complete opposite of Almería. If you don't move, you die. And that applies to everything, not just music. The relationships with the industry, the media... It's just as important. Living in other cities, I didn't see it as much.

5. Latest or Upcoming Projects: Give us a glimpse into your current endeavors and what lies ahead on your creative journey.

With so much work at Antídoto building a solid brand, making music took a backseat, and for the rest of the year, it will be one of my main focuses. Last week, to celebrate my show at Sònar festival, I released "Whipcream," a new single with an extra vocal version for DJs. I'll also be touring festivals this summer and doing several tours around the world. I believe it will be a great year.
