Italian sportswear maker C.P. Company has partnered with automotive specialist Automobili Amos to create a jacket drawing from motorsport heritage. The new Mille Jacket, produced in a run of 50 pieces, combines technical materials with design elements from endurance racing.
The jacket uses a blend of aramid fibers and technical mesh in its construction. Its materials – cotton, aramid, polyamide and polyester – aim to balance protection with breathability. Notable features include C.P. Company's signature goggle hood, a specialized watch window, and reflective details for low-light visibility.
Finished in Automobili Amos' characteristic green, the jacket includes practical touches like a dedicated key compartment. The design references both the historic Mille Miglia road race and modern rally racing, particularly the Dakar Rally where Automobili Amos recently competed in a custom buggy wearing C.P. Company colors.
The collaboration brings together C.P. Company's technical garment expertise with Automobili Amos' automotive focus. While the racing team faced mechanical issues at Dakar, they tested the jacket in actual rally conditions.
The Mille Jacket is available through C.P. Company's website, priced at $1,150. Given the limited production of 50 pieces, availability depends on remaining stock.
