TDE artist Doechii has released a trailer for her upcoming series "Denial Is a River", set to premiere January 2. The show takes inspiration from 90s sitcom "Family Matters" and features an ensemble cast including comedian Zack Fox and rapper ScHoolboy Q.
The series, which shares its name with a track from Doechii's album "Alligator Bites Never Heal", brings together notable names from music and entertainment. Earl Sweatshirt appears under the playful moniker "Brad Pitt", while social media personality Rickey Thompson and musicians Teezo Touchdown, H Wood, DJ Miss Milan, Baby Tate, and SiR round out the cast.
The trailer, released on Instagram, offers a first look at the show's sitcom format, though plot specifics remain under wraps. Updates will be available through the series' dedicated Instagram account and entertainment media outlets.
This release marks Doechii's first venture into television production, adding to her repertoire as a recording artist. The Tampa native continues to expand her creative portfolio beyond music, following her breakthrough year with Top Dawg Entertainment.
