In the landscape of contemporary electronic music and hip-hop, few names have made as deep and innovative an impact as Kaytranada. Born Louis Kevin Celestin on August 25, 1992, in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, and raised in Montréal, Canada, Kaytranada has crafted a sound that blends house, hip-hop, R&B, and funk into an irresistible mix. His style has earned respect from audiences and critics alike while influencing new generations of producers and artists.

Kaytranada began his career publishing remixes and self-produced beats on SoundCloud and YouTube. His remix of Janet Jackson's "If" became the springboard that captured international attention, going viral and placing him at the center of the music scene. His ability to transform existing songs into completely new tracks with a unique style quickly made him a reference figure in the underground scene.

Over the years, he developed a recognizable style that mixes house grooves and deep bass with unique elegance. His influences range from J Dilla and Madlib to Chicago and Detroit house music, to the tropical sounds of his Haitian heritage.

In 2016, with the release of his debut album "99.9%", came true recognition. A revolutionary record that won over critics and audiences alike, it delivered a perfect blend of house, hip-hop, funk, and R&B, featuring collaborations with artists like Anderson .Paak, Vic Mensa, GoldLink, and Craig David. The album won the prestigious Polaris Music Prize, the most important recognition for Canadian music.

His iconic tracks like "Glowed Up", "Together", and "Lite Spots" demonstrate his ability to create tracks that work in any environment, whether a club or a more intimate space, combining elegance and energy.

In 2019, Kaytranada consolidated his fame with "BUBBA", an album that saw further growth in his sound and collaborations with artists such as Kali Uchis, Pharrell Williams, Masego, and Estelle. This project allowed him to win the Grammy Award for Best Dance/Electronic Album, making him the first Black artist to receive this recognition in that category.

His mature tracks and impeccable production marked an evolution of his style, proving that Kaytranada is an innovator capable of influencing the entire music landscape.

He has inspired young producers who seek to emulate his sound, pushing house and electronic R&B toward new horizons. His impact is felt in both emerging and established artists who share his approach to sound and samples.

His ability to combine different genres has contributed to a shift in the perception of electronic music, making it more accessible to a wider audience. Kaytranada has shown that house music can be connected to the roots of Black music.

One of the most iconic moments in Kaytranada's career was his performance at Boiler Room, a platform known for its DJ sessions broadcast live from around the world. His performance, recorded in Montréal, became one of the most iconic in Boiler Room history, accumulating millions of views and becoming a reference point for electronic music enthusiasts.

During the set, Kaytranada demonstrated his skill in mixing house, hip-hop, and funk tracks with extraordinary fluidity, creating a unique atmosphere that made the event legendary.

This set showed the world that Kaytranada is not just a talented producer but also an exceptional DJ capable of transmitting emotions through music in real time.

Kaytranada shows no signs of stopping. With increasingly ambitious collaborations and a sound that continues to evolve, his future appears brighter than ever. His ability to reinvent himself and always push boundaries makes him one of the most exciting artists of his generation.

Currently touring Europe, he arrived in Italy on March 30. Milan's Fabrique hosted his show, filled with bangers, sounds, and emotions, engaging the audience from the first to the last minute of his splendid set.
