Fashion designer Willy Chavarria and rapper Kendrick Lamar have announced a clothing collection for Super Bowl LIX, marking their first official collaboration since Lamar wore Chavarria's designs during his Big Steppers Tour in 2023. The partnership, which includes the NFL and Lamar's pgLang creative company, will release a range of performance-inspired streetwear pieces.
The collection centers on a satin bomber jacket featuring "KLamar" embroidery across the chest and "g.NATIONAL" text on the back – a reference to Lamar's upcoming Grand National Tour with SZA. Additional pieces include practice jerseys, mesh shorts, and graphic hoodies and t-shirts. Artist Felipe Merida contributed designs incorporating Lamar's "tv off" lyrics "Foot Up On The Gas But Somebody Gotta Do It".
This release follows Chavarria's recent debut at Paris Fashion Week, where the Mexican-American designer presented his mainline collection. The Super Bowl collaboration merges his signature oversized silhouettes with athletic and performance elements.
The collection launches online January 29, with prices ranging from $55 to $750. All proceeds will support organizations and individuals affected by the Los Angeles fires.
Collection Details:
- Satin bomber jacket with custom embroidery
- Lightweight practice jerseys
- Drawstring mesh shorts
- Hoodies and t-shirts with Felipe Merida graphics
