KENDRICK LAMAR DELIVERS CAREER-SPANNING SET AT SUPER BOWL LIX

Kendrick Lamar headlines Super Bowl LIX Halftime Show with special guests SZA, Mustard, and Serena Williams in a career-spanning performance at Caesars Superdome.

Kendrick Lamar commanded the Caesars Superdome stage during Super Bowl LIX's Halftime Show, weaving through his catalog from early hits to recent releases.

Samuel Jackson opened the show in patriotic attire, setting the stage for Lamar's entrance atop a customized Grand National Buick – a direct reference to his 2024 album GNX. The Compton native launched into "squabble up" before transitioning to his 2017 tracks "HUMBLE." and "DNA".

The set shifted to current material with "euphoria," his response in the ongoing Drake rivalry, followed by GNX cuts "man at the garden" and "peekaboo." SZA joined for their recent collaboration "luther" and revisited their 2018 hit "All The Stars" from Black Panther.

Tennis champion Serena Williams emerged as a dancer during "Not Like Us", with the crowd reciting verses throughout the stadium. Lamar closed the performance alongside DJ Mustard for "tv off", capping a 13-minute showcase that spanned his artistic evolution.

The performance marked Lamar's first Super Bowl appearance as a headliner, following his 2022 guest spot alongside Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, and Mary J. Blige. His set drew from five albums, including material from good kid, m.A.A.d city through GNX.
