Five hundred aluminum suitcases, each finished in a dark bronze patina, mark the first collaboration between luxury luggage maker RIMOWA and fashion designer Rick Owens. The pieces will be available in select stores and online from January 30, priced at $3,525.
The design stems from Owens' interest in bronze sculpture, particularly works by Richard Serra, Alberto Giacometti, and Constantin Brancusi. Each case undergoes an anodization process followed by hand-applied pigmentation, creating variations in the metallic finish.
The interior features black leather lining selected by Owens, while the accompanying baggage tags combine calfskin with coarse hair. The case maintains RIMOWA's signature aluminum construction and wheel system.
RIMOWA CEO Hugues Bonnet-Masimbert notes that Owens "brings an unapologetic edge to everything he touches." The collection was previewed during the Rick Owens Fall/Winter 2025 runway show in Paris, with Owens' partner Michèle Lamy appearing in the campaign imagery.
The cases will be sold through RIMOWA and Rick Owens retail locations, as well as both brands' websites.
