Stone Island, the renowned Italian fashion brand, has announced the re-edition of its acclaimed book, "Storia: Updated". The publication traces the brand's unique "Lab/Life" philosophy, offering an in-depth exploration of its iconic garments and their place in global culture.

Launched in 1982 by Massimo Osti, Stone Island has long been recognized for its innovative fabric treatments, surface effects, and reflective materials that have become hallmarks of the brand. The fashion house's popularity has steadily grown, particularly during the 1980s and 1990s in Europe and Japan, and more recently in North America throughout the 2010s.

The new edition of "Storia" is a full-color monograph published by Rizzoli New York. It not only delves into the brand's design process and product development but also introduces a dedicated chapter titled "Community". This section focuses on the diverse tribes of individuals who have embraced Stone Island as part of their lifestyle and the brand's broader cultural impact.

In the official press release, Robert Triefus, the CEO of Stone Island, commented on the significance of the updated publication. "Across five decades, Stone Island's story is always evolving, so we wanted to publish a refreshed version of our book. 'Storia: Updated' captures the heart of Stone Island, from design conception to the people who make the brand part of their lives. The book is for everyone: the serious collector and those about to buy their first Stone Island piece".

The re-edition of "Storia" promises to offer readers a comprehensive and visually striking exploration of Stone Island's rich history, innovative design approach, and the global community that has embraced the brand's unique aesthetic and ethos.
